Kids/Teens Aerial Description
Kids/Teen Aerial - Girls and Boys will have fun exploring all the circus apparatus in the studio. Each class will begin with a warm-up and include general conditioning designed to increase flexibility and strength. During the heart of the class the students will take turns learning the fundamentals of the circus arts as they decide which ones they will focus on in the future. This class is a great ways for kids to explore their natural creativity and playfulness while increasing general fitness levels.
Beginner Low Aerial - The perfect place to start your circus training. Students will learn the basics of silks, aerial hoop, hammock and static trapeze. (Kids 6-10, Teens 11-17)
Advanced Beginner Aerial - The second level of aerial training. Students will continue their development on each apparatus in a non-competitive atmosphere. (Kids 6-10, Teens 11-17)
Intermediate Aerial - Students who have been asked into the intermediate class will continue to advance in aerial and acrobatic apparatus. They will continue building their core strength and increase their flexibility as they set their sights on even more exciting skills.
Kids/Teens Floor & Yoga Classes
Contemporary Dance - Teen contemporary dance is a fusion of contemporary choreography and modern technique with focus on movement for performance. (Ages 11-17)
AIReal Yoga™ - Uses a hammock that swivels freely on a single point taking you to a higher level. It allows you to deepen your stretch, correct alignment and safely perform inversions. (Ages 11+)
Acro & Tumbling
Fundamental gymnastics provides a base for all acrobatics and aerial arts. Students will learn basic tumbling skills on the floor and tumble track. Intermediate students train on the trampoline.
(Kids 6-10, Teens 11-17)
Handstand class - focuses on techniques to keep you upside down longer than you thought possible. Building wrist strength, core strength and an awareness to make minute shifts to continually find balance.
Boys Superhero Training - Boys develop their superhero skills by building strength, improving flexibility and balance, in a non competitive atmosphere. Using the tumble track, tumble track and static trapeze. (Ages 6-10)
Parkour - The art of using your environment to creatively express yourself through movement. Students will cultivate the strength and flexibility of mind, body, and spirit by using a wide range of acrobatic and athletic skills. Through this training, students will conquer fears, see obstacles as a means for growth and find a new, exciting way to move through the world.
